The boys are both done! Fun project and a great learning experience â I might blow the patterns up a little and make another set, maybe mess with the clothing a little.
Changed I made to the pattern - I decorated Aziraphaleâs bow tie and used a sequin for the watch instead of satin stitching it, I made Crowleyâs vest sparkly, and I didnât stuff either of their arms because damn those things were tiny.
Yay for geeky crafts!

Idia Facts Part 40: Idia, Kalim and Tradition
While Kalim seems like the antithesis to Idia himself (Idia ranks him as first among NRCâs most cheerful characters), he does not seem to hold Kalimâs extroverted nature against him, saying that he knew Kalim has the best intentions when trying to throw him an additional banquet after his birthday party.
When Kalim comments, "There's nothing geeky about sharing things you enjoy" Idia responds, "the worst part is that I know you sincerely believe that."
Idia has no patience for traditionâsimilar to Jamilâsaying that âTraditions are pointless. We gotta keep things updated so technology doesnât leave us in the dust.â
Idia argues in favor of setting a new precedent for the traditional Starsending event (so that he will not have to participate), but Crowley insists, âWhat the Starsending requires is a respect for tradition.â
Idia is not impressed by the hand-crafted guide in Harveston, saying that âItâd be more helpful AND user-friendly if the map was a touchscreen," and refers to a Harveston traditional food as âjank,â but he enjoys the traditional clothes they wear because they are similar to what is worn by characters in one of his favorite anime.
Idia gives a significant upgrade to a wood-splitter used by Epelâs grandmother, saying that it is going to revolutionize the logging industry.
Worried that she will not be able to actually use it, Marja has him downgrade it back to how it was before.
Idia has unfavorable opinions about the traditional city watch in Fleur City, saying security cameras, sensors and digital solutions could manage their money and peacekeeping efforts, but, âI guess youâre not supposed to change up traditions. Thatâs like the whole point.â

Other than Star Wars, what movies or shows do you think Simon and Izzy like to watch together?
Oh, FUCK YEAH. SIZZY ASK HOURS.
They both give off the vibe of adoring geeky nonsense, so I think they'd be all over a personal favourite of mine: Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Simon would absolutely love the special effects of the evil exes turning to coins, and Izzy would criticise everything that the characters are doing wrong in action scenes. Also you cannot convince me that Simon has not called Isabelle "his Ramona Flowers" and been met with an "I'm not your pixie dream manic girl," which Simon just loses it at because it's totally out of order since she just discovered the concept. Much like the book that is also a face.
In any case, another saga that I think they would enjoy is Lord of the Rings. I've never seen it, but I think it would be a movie that they like because of its classic nerd value.
I personally and selfishly want them to be Good Omens junkies and ship the Ineffable Husbands. I think Thomas and Alastair would likely be Good Omens fans if they lived in the present day, so I only hope that Isabelle will follow in her husband's tradition. I think that for a con Simon dresses up as an eerily accurate Aziraphale and Isabelle dresses as a Sexy! Female! Crowley, and they have a blast.
Another show that I definitely think Simon made Isabelle watch is Firefly, which got her interested in Joss's other work. When she learned about Buffy, it was absolutely something she HAD to see. They end up watching the entire show together. Isabelle strongly relates to Buffy in a myriad of ways, and Simon finds it so funny and cute.
They also definitely watch anime together, and sometimes they do so with Clary and Jace (since Clary and Simon are both anime nerds). My stupid little obsessed brain likes to think Simon appreciates the Classics and adores Urusei Yatsura, and Isabelle adores Lum and VITRIOLICALLY hates Ataru at first (but he grows on her). I think she'd adore Benten, while Simon would argue that Ran is the "hotter space babe". And Isabelle would be like, "Ran will kill you." And Simon will be like, "Oyuki is no better. You'll freeze." Which is true.
But anyway, they definitely have also seen every Ghibli film. Simon's favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, and Isabelle likes it but prefers Spirited Away because of all the monsters. It's like, an AU Downworld.

I keep forgetting to ask, and if you deleted it for a reason sorry, but I got a notification that my question on if you have TWST OCs was answered, but before I could view it it seems to have been deleted? Sorry if it was rude in any way.
Okay, this is embarrassing.
I did respond to your ask, but I misread it. Badly. And in a moment of panic, instead of simply, I dunno, editing it, I deleted it. I remember looking at my drafts thinking, I don't know, it'd still be there? Nope nope nope. I'm just - I'm going to blame it on my COVID brain at the time.

Anyway! I only have my TWST MC (which in all honesty is just my Obey Me MC repackaged). I don't have any OCs for TWST, although I see a lot of creative ones online that I adore. I'm not as motivated to write OCs for TWST, honestly. Maybe it's because the cast of characters is so extensive and there aren't many gaps in the types of personalities I'd like to see. TWST isn't an otomeâ˘ď¸ so my motivation to play it is largely based on the story itself and the beautiful artwork which, ngl, means it takes a back burner to other things.
Compared to my general satisfaction with TWST now, I wrote the Obey Me OCs because:
I had a burst of random inspiration (ex. I started developing Azra's character because of a Lucifer Devilgram in OG)
My romantic tastes were not quite satisfied by the current cast (ex. Karasu is a geeky tech demon without the parts of Levi's personality I dislike)
They were meant to make the Devildom or Celestial Realm worlds feel more complete with different types of interactions tying the canon and OC cast together (ex. Zee's character was written because of Azra/The Fall, and by the time I developed him, I loved him despite that not being my original intention)
When it comes to TWST, I don't feel the same drive to create new characters. With everything I'd like to work on, I'm not sure I'd even have time for both. If my brain stops fixating on Obey Me and changes to TWST, maybe I'll feel more inspiration to do that.
Also, I kind of love Crowley more than anything else in that game and I don't think I could write an OC that could compete with him.

1, 2, 3, 15, 26 for the ask game :)
oooh thank you so much!
answers under the cut :)
Identity Asks
if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?
Read: Warm Bodies; anything by Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, or Grady Hendrix, Fablehaven and Wings of Fire to understand my childhood escapism, X-Men comics
Watch: anything X-Men, or really anything superhero in general; Ex Machina, Annihilation, The Fly, Pan's Labyrinth, How to Train Your Dragon, MacGyver (2016), Arcane
Listen to: any metal/punk rock you can find. I have my favorites of course but anything works
2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?
I've never met anyone who thinks just like me, but I think @can-of-pringles and @nebulousfishgills and I are pretty like-minded in terms of writing strategy. In terms of seeing myself in what I read, part of why I love Warm Bodies is because of R's internal rambling and struggle with identity/self-recovery (I mean... that character is literally why I ended up calling myself R, though part of that was just realizing it was just a metal-as-fuck name to use), so Isaac Marion goes on the list too.
3. list your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with.
Okay, so I'm not going to list all my fandoms bc there's not always a character I really identify with in them. Sometimes I just like the characters because they're well-crafted or interesting, not because I necessarily relate to them. So I'll only list the ones where I strongly relate to a character
X-Men: Archangel (for a lot of reasons actually, not going to go into that here but his character genuinely got me through some of the worst parts of my life) Star Wars: Ahsoka Tano MacGyver (2016): Mac or Desi The Sandman: Rose Walker or Death of the Endless (protective older sister let's gooo lol) DC: Harley Quinn Marvel/MCU: Loki Arcane: Vi Good Omens: Crowley
15. five most influential books over your lifetime.
ooh, tough one
Warm Bodies series (more impactful than it seems in premise, and helped me understand how i viewed my identity)
Wings of Fire series (just because it was my childhood)
Touching Spirit Bear (first school-assigned book I genuinely enjoyed, found it very impactful)
Twelfth Night (first Shakespeare play I ever enjoyed, sponsored my love of theatre)
Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit (my dad read it to me as a kid, brought me close to him and influenced my geeky interests too lol)
26. how would you describe your gender/sexuality?
genderqueer and bisexual. androgynous presenting, maybe airing on the side of masculine a little. definitely want to present more masc in the future. and I've been questioning whether I'm on the ace spectrum, but I can't tell if that's just me being unsure of what to expect in a serious relationship since I haven't really been in one before

Ok, after this beautiful season 2 of Good Omens, but especially after the finale... I only want one thing: watch it again and again and then, when I'll have no more tissues to cry on or tears in my body, spend Sunday reading fics about Aziraphale and Crowley on holidays or in their cottage, with picnics or just enjoying their day. No suspense, no fear, no hurt for a few weeks, time to heal my geeky heart. Cuteness overload please. Thanks to all AO3 authors for healing our hearts one fic at a time đ
@neil-gaiman and all the Good Omens team : thank you for your beautiful work : so many emotions, laughs (the dance ! The Bentley ! Jim !), and all the beautiful scenes... Don't have words to say it all. The work done here is incredible and it shows on the screen, along with all the love put into it by the teams.
Honestly I was expecting and hoping for a finale like season 1 (gentle and romantic ! Naive foolish little goblins we were, thinking it was about our favorite duo) but as Neil Gaiman said, it's the second part of a three-part adventure. So let's hope for a final in S3 with the cottage đâ¨

I swear if I start my third rewatch for the third time on episode one again I might just go crazy but also I should probably refresh my memory. My second complete rewatch I skipped season 3 and much of season 1/2 (because at the time 5 was and is my favorite, and also I still haven't seen all of season 14/15 so I was trying to get thru it all so I could see the ending which I clearly did not do anyway.) Idk I think the apocalypse world arc was just really egging me and uh Michael!Dean was supposed to be interesting but I just couldn't get through it. I really loved Jack is the thing, so I was like holding out but after Crowley became extinct I was like.... You killed my favorite character for good... I hate this show. And I do, really, but mostly 12 onward. Despite the occasional great episode. (Wayward Sisters, uhhh fucking Tombstone (I love ghouls and geeky Dean having fun with his family), ...other ones?) But also I've been really wrapped up in the fanon nostalgia of kripkenatural's Americana and I need to experience that properly (I miss Bella), I just have also seen the first three episodes going seventy million times so I don't want to continue from ... I think the last one I watched was bloody Mary, but I don't wanna start in the middle (the first quarter?) So I guess I have to watch episode 1 again.... I do love dead in the water... Wendigo is probably my favorite episode ... After pilot and the end and the benders and play things and the entirety of season 2 ... And faith... Okay I'll start from the beginning. Once more with feeling.

Damn so sadly I legit only know two outta of those four lmao
Iâd say on a whim non-binary, people pleaser but at the same time prefer to keep to yourself, avid learner, some part of the rainbow in a different manner, and geeky (in a good way)
ALSO
The amount of fandoms and actually having to make me decide? Painful but I narrowed it to four Lmao

Just like you my friend, tagging the mutals. You donât have to do this whatsoever, haha, entirely up to you

I've spent the last few weeks on this project, and I'm so excited to have it completed! Angel/demon tree topper with my favorite occult (celestial!) beings, @neilhimself and the late great Terry Pratchett's Crowley and Aziraphale from Good Omens. Soon they will be saving the world from atop the Christmas tree!
(Sculpting Crowley's tiny snake head belt buckle is probably my proudest moment on this project.)

My actual favorite thing about the not-date-Nora-scene is that Cas is bumbling his way into this not-date, and...
even though Cas is narratively positioned as this "lame-ass, geeky little failure"
even though the ep opens with the hur-dee-durp guys in the gas station being all "macho-macho"
even though Nora was being so weird and leading-on-ish in how she asked Cas "out"
We pan over, and there's Dean (fellow nerd, let's be honest) and despite some classist digs about minimum wage, on the whole, he is still so heart-eyes for Cas. đÂ
No, seriously. Dean thought the rose was "a nice touch." Romantic, even. đš
I mean, Dean woulda appreciated that rose. He woulda.
But let's face it. It was dorky--I mean, he cut it from Nora's own garden! (Oh, Cas.)
///
Later, in 9x10, we'll get this gem from the Crowley's bespectacled demon spy, Cecily: "I mean, human Castiel? Eh. But feathered Castiel? Hot."
So, everyone's a little ga-ga for Cas. But the thing is, Dean is ga-ga for him even when he's...human-ish. To Dean, he's "hot" either way.
///
đľ Hey, Leonardo đľ
But what she sees Are my faults and indecisions My insecure conditions And the tears upon the pillow that I shed

Tell us about yourself: she/her in my mid 40s. Originally from Italy but live in the UK.
When and in what form were you introduced to Good Omens: I read the book around 10/12 years ago, after reading and loving other Neil Gaiman's books. I guess I approached the GO universe from a kind of geek-y perspective. I was very excited when it was announced that it would be made into a series adapted by Neil himself and over the moon when it was announced that Crowley would be played by none other than my favourite doctor!
Have you recommended/watched GO with friends or family and how did they respond: my sister discovered the series without my influence and loves it. My husband read the book under my recommendation and now watches and rewatches the series with me and, though a bit frustrated by my obsession, likes it.
When did the brainrot take over? aka at what point did your obsession start: after watching the final 15! I need closure!
Which is your favorite episode: Hard Times, no doubt.
Now word vomit about how much you love the series/characters and tell us what they mean to you: I have written about this in several posts and yet I find myself unable to find the words. I loved the book and I am addicted to the series. I have always loved a good old fight between good and evil (which isn't the fight between heaven and hell of course) but it's not only that. I love seeing the protagonists -and the actors who play them-looking around my age but it's not only that. I'm not part of the queer community but I love to see the queer community represented in such a beautiful way and it was about time not it's not only that. I obviously love the geeky universe: angels, demons, WITCHES, the Antichrist, Atlantis, the kraken and everything coming together but it's not only that. I'm a sucker for love stories but, yes you guessed it, it's not only that. It's all of these together. And more. It's the humanity in the show. It's not giving up. It's the wit. It's love always wins. It's comedy and it's tragedy. It's the call that you have to answer to. (Well, you did say "word vomit"!)
Hey Good Omens Fandom! While we're waiting for Season Three, let's get to know each other! This isn't a tagging game, so everyone is encouraged to share their answers. Let's get started with The Basics:
